Vizak ROCKS!

vizag-1.jpg

After more than 15 months of hiatus from beaches and coconut smells, here I landed back again in beautiful place Vizag.  As I was coming from Hyderabad with the nap that kept broking for the sake of spicy foods dancing under my belly. In about 11am morning, My eyes suddenly start reeling with a visual feast of small hills. As I see a steep road , I see dense fogs around me. That had nothing to do with winter. For a moment, I felt like, I am atop of rolling coaster and about to swing my heart. I heard a familiar lagoon echoes. And Here come beautiful Viazag beach “Goa of the east coast”. Truly, It has all those beauty that you find in Goa.  Serene & scenic placid lagoons, palm coconut fringed shores, bays, powdery golden & silvery sand, enchanting surf, and delicious sea-foods, exquisite beaches, exceptional nature beauty, breathtaking speedboat riders and rich culture & traditions.

Atop of Vizak! You can navigate the whole round beaches with bird’s eye view.

I have lots of things to recollect back in this old lodge which has horrible bathroom and breathtaking toilets. Its about to kick off 1:15am. I have to catch my train Araku Valley morning at 6:30am.   Just heard from couple of friends here, The journey to Araku Valley is the most enjoying as the rail passes through tunnels, hill sides and streams.  I dropped idea going by car. Better we all asked our driver to come down in Araku as we can go by train. I have hardly 5 hrs for sleep. Let me post it down right for today. See ya!

Happy days! Here it come again!

Gyrating wildly years of stock market, lurching lower than I ever seen, falling to its lowest point till this last moment, economy facing a chronic and debilitating decline.  Bankruptcy pops up like a fresh new mushrooms. Lay off news like a coffee talk. Pink Slip like a theater tickets.  But, Happy days damn care these shits. They comes with joys and happiness. Force you to relax with echoes of Bobby Mcferrin’s songs,  Don’t worry, be happy.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ahead. I am going vizag to celebrate it down. Goa has no fun ahead. They raped those lovely virgin beaches. They banned unspoilt sandy beach party. All those bitch. Go to hell!

All long way round which seems you could have done much more than you thought of. You could have fulfilled your desire. You could have healed the emptiness. You could have shared the moments and see happiness.  You could have feel the pain and sorrow. You could have seen people enjoying with gloomy eyes reminiscing the past celebration with the love one. Missing them.Feeling them like theirs. All shits, I did was being laziness, impudence , and hubris whole damn year.

Today, I shamefully encountered a null pointer exception out of my a year effort!

Nepal Mourning for Chitwan Little Kids & Teachers!

I have been writing happy moments and  it is usually easy to write. But I never thought of wiring a grief message. Tonight, Many of those little kids parents heart are in pieces, bearing intolerable pain. The wound alone is just not only for a year it will take several years to heal.  Those lovely  little kids returning back from fun packed picnic had never thought of such mishap. They must have been dancing, singing song and chit-chatting inside  the ill-fated bus. The bus  was carrying students and teachers of Hill Bird Boarding School from Chitwan.  They were returning home after a picnic in Butwal. December is the peak season in Terai Schools for the outing. As winter arrives, vacation kicks off. Obviously, most of them have free time. Exam are over and fun just left ahead.  The news reports says that the ill-fated school bus skidded off Kharkhare bridge at Thumsi. Even today, When I come across Thumsi, I often find myself  distress. This place is better known for accident prone area where many bus accident had happen  in the past.    I am searching for  a condolence note. I find difficult to figure it out what and how to write it down. I am feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I am literally putting the task off until the time to write has seemingly passed.  All those kids and teacher who passed away could have been averted. The death toll is raising. It has already reached 23 most of them are small children.  I will keep all all suffering parents in my prayers.  All small kids definitely are not destined to meet their life such way. The only we can do is to prevent the mistake that had happen. I keep you and your lovely children  in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for all injured students and teachers for speedy recovery.  I encourage suffered one to draw on their strength and the strength of their family. God bless all of suffered parents. Peace!

Frenzied Kolkota fans weclome Maradona!

maradona_1_630.jpg

Just few weeks ago, Argentina legend Diego Maradona was in limelight for a sensational return to football as the coach of his national side. As this news was still in the air, a good news was about to reveal. He is coming in Kolkota. He accepted the West Bengal government invitation despite of recent terrorist attack and rumors of being one of the dangerous place to visit.

A football legend Maradona is here in India for two day official visits (Dec 6th – 7th, 08). Since late 80’s, I have been one of the craziest Maradona fan. Never got chance to fulfill my dream  though I saw Thousands of Thousands enthusiastic fans and a quote-hungry media jostling for a byte, greeting with torches and lamps dispelling the darkness of the Kolkota Saturday night, wearing mask of soccer legend Maradona.  Such a grand tumultuous welcome I have rarely seen. The Kolkata truly a soccer hub in India.

I had formed soccer club back in home town and became a mid-fielder. Made dozne of goal in my career.  My friends and senior were truly a great player. Couple of my friends are professional player and doing great jobs. Everyone dreams to beomce Maradona is just not a matter of luck, its all about passion and hard work. Though Maradona has been through really hard time  throughtout his life. He’s battled drug addictions and obesity. He’s been kicked out of the World Cup for doping and sentenced to jail for shooting an air gun at reporters. He scored a famous goal by punching the ball into the net but He is still a great soccer legend, loved and  revered  by billions fans around the world.

He will be leading his nation in upcoming Word Cup 2010 in South Africa but there is fear that due to limited experience as a coach in just two brief stints at Argentine club sides over 10 years ago, would appear to make him a much riskier proposition. However, I am optimistic. The recent trend in appointing former star player as a coach has shown a promising result. I hope the best and let the Argentina win the 2010 wordcup. I love watching him again.

World AIDS Day 2008

hivaids-ribbon-transp1.pngDespite of my work nature, I own more PLWHA friends then the ordinary one, who are so closely attached with me. They talk about issue and I add one more on. They share their  thoughts, their witty comments  and inimitable sense of humor  and I try to share mine, shedding some lights. All these friends suffers from heartfelt feelings about future, about life and more importantly about stigma. I find organization like NAPN, Snehsamaj, Shaktimilan, BDS, FAITH, AAN, NKPlus, Youth Vision, Nepal Youth and many more working hand in hand for the basic rights for PLWHA.  The rights are slowly reflecting in practice. I see friends and children are recieving free ARV drugs, receieving minimum facility to check up their CD4 status. Though, Its just a minimum.  A lot has to be done. There are uncertainty ahead. But Hopes are alive. The death fall has sharply down, but the numbers of living with infection has raised. New challenges are popping up. Every memento mori like my beloved friends have to go through really taugh time. All the sudden, HIV starts to demand tremendous amount of patient, pain, depression and sense of hopelesness and NGO like those will always be frontrunner for them to rescue. I love their work.

WORD AIDS DAY is just not for an other kinds of person. Its for you, me and everyone. Lets unite together to help, support the infected and affected’s friends and their family.  Lets raise our voice, lets spread awareness among us, among our community. Lets give them respect and dignity to live in this society. Lets raise voice for their rights. Lets fight for their rigths. Lets make stigma free society. Lets make everyone vulnerable free. Lets make this place, this nation, this city, this village, this downtown an AIDS free. Lets start right away.
