A case made me sad!

Today, My heart goes out to Khyati, her family and friends. Beautiful, talented and heartthrob of her parent,  Ms Khyati Shrestha, 17, got kidnapped on fateful day of Jun 4th,  amidst rumors, echoing far in the terai, when criminal gangs were fearlessly kidnapping children for ransom. On Jun 21st, 2009, Nepal police found the mutilated body of Khyati Shrestha in a stream at Sainbu VDC, Lalitpur, on Sunday.

She was one & only daughter in the family.  Her dad decided to settle down in Kathmandu for her higher study. He had never thought in dream that the crime of Kathmandu will follow & hunt his own beautiful daughter.

The motive behind this crime was not merely a ransom, there lies something more, something the authority has yet to discover. As the case in its climax, People in Kathmandu are shocked (How many times?). Most of them made it clear & cut that the valley is not surrounded with safe hills as it was a few years ago.

As of writing this blogs, Nepal police claims that the alleged kidnappers are Birendra Shrestha, 42, and Merina Shakya, 16. Mr. Shrestha. Mr Birendra is a college teacher where Khyati used to study and latter is a student in the AVM school awaiting her SLC result.

The murder case seems puzzling.  How could a teacher and a teen girl together can ever attempt such heinous crime. Several speculation are on the air but no one ready to accept it.  Some speculation says that the alleged have been deliberately trapped in the case. May it was just game that turned pretty bad, or whatever the truth lies within, its all  that turn us Once again, paused to believe that we are living middle of fear and lawless land.

Our fearless criminals share the boldness and the attributes of our  infamous leaders who roam with flexing chest of impunity. Who every steps encourage the perpetrators to shows off their real colour.

I pray god, May her soul rest in peace and may god give the strength to her family members. And May god punished those criminal who committed this horrendous crime.

Dry Monsoon

Finally, The hard penance  start shedding. And flame laden air fading slowly far away as Cold stiff breeze blows from all direction. I switched off my cooler. I sighed that was holding for months, I made comforts & murmur myself, like a split-personality, I was waiting you since a year and you made it late. So late I thought you forgot the monsoon. So late that you lost all mist & moist on the way.  I thought it should have been my Aug monsoon in Kochi when  I cursed the sky to turn baleful and remain silent for a day.  I smiled lopsidedly, accepted that Hyderabad is not Kochi after all.

I missed this monsoon dearly. This sickness drags me back in those days when I was a marathon kid, tireless energy amidst insane rains turns us to chant a rhyme that echoed around Butwal “Hara Hara Mahadev Pani day, Yeti lay pugayna Ajhai day”  (Hey Mahadadev Give us more rains, its not enough add more), a group of friend like a  nude ascetic warriors were gaining strength from the monsoon. And all the neighbors watched us joyously. We lost our shame and shyness. The monsoon proved us there is day for everyone.
